NEVADA STATE SENATOR TICK SEGERBLOM WILL BE FIRST RECREATIONAL CANNABIS CUSTOMER AT REEF’S LAS VEGAS STRIP LOCATION AT 12 AM
LAS VEGAS – Locals and tourists alike will have the opportunity to be first in line to celebrate legal recreational marijuana in the state of Nevada on the evening of June 30th, 2017, with sales beginning at midnight July 1st at Reef Dispensaries’ flagship Las Vegas Strip location. With lines expected to wrap around the 165,000 square-foot facility, Reef will be handing out limited edition, dated ‘Day 1’ snapback hats to the first 100 recreational customers in line on the night of June 30th. The event will include a rooftop firework show at the stroke of midnight on July 1st, plus live DJs, food trucks, and event sponsor booths from local cannabis vendors on both days.
Nevada State Senator Tick Segerblom will be the first to legally purchase recreational cannabis at 12 AM on Friday night at Reef Dispensaries’ Las Vegas Strip location. As a longtime champion of cannabis legalization, Tick’s integral contribution to the movement has been unparalleled. Reef is proud to honor the senator as our first recreational marijuana customer in the state.
“This day is the culmination of two years of hard work by an army of Nevadans. I’m very proud to be a part of it,” said Senator Segerblom. “It’s going to be a historical day in the history of Las Vegas.”

Despite some logistical confusion created last week by a court ruling in Carson City, it will not affect Reef Dispensaries’ right to legally sell recreational cannabis in Nevada on July 1st.
