NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV – On Friday, February 15th, 2019, Reef Dispensary celebrated the grand opening of its massive 7500 sq. ft. North Las Vegas store, located at 1370 W. Cheyenne Ave. The new space is three times the size as the previous store, taking over a vacant supermarket space located in the same parking lot.
The celebration was kicked off around noon, as the ribbon cutting commenced, attended by North Las Vegas City Councilman Richard Cherchio, as well as Las Vegas-based rapper Dizzy Wright. Tryke Companies Director of Retail Mark Conley wielded the ceremonial scissors.
Wright, who has his own line of cannabis products through Redwood Cultivation, showcased his new Still Movin’ OG brand of flower, with a pop-up booth promoting his clothing boutique of the same name. Dizzy took photos with the fans until 2PM. Also making a surprise appearance was actress / model Hannah Kat Jones (Public Disturbance, Austin & Ally).
Rapper Kurupt, best known for his work with Tha Dogg Pound and Death Row Records, arrived at 2PM in promotion of his unique Real Kurupt’s Moonrock cannabis product, to meet and mingle with the fans. Kurupt treated shoppers to an impromptu live performance of his hits “We Can Freak It” and “Ain’t No Fun”, the latter a beloved collaboration with Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg. Kurupt also participated in the cake cutting and met Dizzy Wright and actress Alexis Fawx for the first time.
