Each holiday season, Tryke Companies / Reef Dispensaries likes to give back to the communities it operates in. This year, the company is proud to kick off its first annual Reef Grants program. Reef Grants are cash allocations that to go toward projects or causes that the company is passionate about. This year, the cannabis company has hand-picked four charitable, non-profit organizations to be a part of the Reef Grants program in Nevada and Arizona. The contributions are as follows:
Safe Embrace (Reno, NV): Safe Embrace is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to educating the community and providing services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. For over 17 years, it has been committed to ending the cycle of intimate partner violence with innovative intervention and prevention services in Reno, Nevada. Reef Dispensaries will team with Safe Embrace to provide all of its shelter residents with meals for one week.
Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada (Las Vegas, NV): For more than 76 years, the mission of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada has been to serve those in need. Through five categories – Family Services, Food Services, Senior Services, Immigration and Refugee Services, and Homeless and Housing Services – CCSN is providing a wide range of human services and support, from infants to seniors. Reef Dispensaries will make a donation to fund the organization’s various programs and services and will contribute volunteer time.
Central Arizona Shelter Services + Food Vision (Phoenix, AZ): Several times per year, chef Ronald Young’s Food Vision teams with Central Arizona Shelter Services for the “Days of Generosity” program, to provide food for the homeless and less fortunate in the downtown Phoenix area. This year, Reef will team with Food Vision and the CASS Family Shelter Vista Colina to provide a day of fun for its 130 residents (90 of them children.) Reef’s contribution will go to meals and a rented bounce house for the Vista Colina kids.
Bikes for Brats (Las Vegas, NV): Presented by the local Las Vegas Hammer and Cycle bike club, the annual Bikes for Brats program provides bicycles for underprivileged teenagers and children whom can use them as their primary means of transportation. Reef Dispensaries will contribute to the fund for this year’s Bikes for Brats program.
Reef Dispensaries / Tryke Companies wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
