LAS VEGAS, November 15, 2017 – Tryke Companies today announced the resignation of its co-founder and CEO Matthew Morgan, along with new additions to its management team. Morgan will leave the company to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in California’s newly minted recreational cannabis market and will continue to advise as a consultant during the transition period.
“These last four years have been some of the most amazing years of my life, from the great people I’ve had a chance to meet with to the next level of experiences that I’ve been a part of. That said, I have come to the decision to resign as CEO of Reef Dispensaries,” Morgan said in a statement. “This has been one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I wish Reef and all of my colleagues nothing but the best moving forward. As for the next chapter? California, here I come.”
Following Morgan’s departure, Tryke Companies co-founder and Chairman Adam Ryan will lead the company as CEO:
“Matt has done an amazing job building this company and we feel fortunate to have had his leadership these last few years. We wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors,” Ryan said in a statement.
In addition to Ryan’s role as CEO, Tryke Companies is also proud to announce two new additions to its management team.
Mark Conley joins the Tryke Companies team as Director of Retail. Conley will use his 25 years of expertise as a Wal-Mart district manager to oversee retail operations at six Reef locations across Nevada and Arizona, as well as future locations as they come online.
Danielle El Kadi has joined Tryke Companies as its new Head of Wholesale. El Kadi brings her vast knowledge of cannabis brands and products to Tryke, having previously worked as Director of Sales and Client Relations for Evergreen Organix.
